Hi Beautiful!
My name is Gloria Mills, I am a self-taught hairstylist in the DMV area. My love for hair started as a creative outlet to boost my confidence and love myself more. The meaning of “Ohemaa” in my native Ghanaian language means “Queen”. My brand is all about exuding confidence, self love & embracing your beauty, which all in my opinion, embody a Queen.
My mission as your Hairstylist and Wigmaker is to help you feel the beauty that God has already placed inside you.
In 2018, I was inspired to turn my hobby/hustle into a business. Although, I started as a braider, I fell in love with wigs, my true art form. The flexibility, creativity and ability to switch your entire look in one second, always intrigued me. I wasn’t sure when or where to start but I knew that my passion would speak for itself. 5 years later, here we are!
Ohemaa’s Crown specializes in custom glueless units that come ready to wear. Whether you want a new look for work, a special occasion or just an everyday easy hairdo, we are here to bring your vision to life, one wig at a time.

Important Information [Read before booking]
Security Deposit | Payments
- Every appointment requires a deposit to secure the date and time you’ve chosen. Deposits are non-refundable. You will be prompted to pay as you book your appointment. The remaining balance will be paid on the day of service, shipping or pick-up. Accepted forms of payment include: Zelle and Apple Pay.

Appointment Contract
- The contract for your appointment will be sent (3-7 days before your appointment) after your deposit has been paid. You must sign the contract before the date of your appointment. If the contract and security deposit are not received 48 hours before your appointment, I will send 1 reminder before canceling. The address, payment info, and important reminders will be sent via email with the contract.
Late Policy | Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Please communicate with me if you will be late. In the event of tardiness on the part of the client, there will be a 10-minute grace period due to the circumstances. After this grace period, late fees are applied, or your appointment will be canceled. For every extra 10 minutes you are late, you will be charged an additional $15. After 30 minutes, if you have not communicated with me, your appointment will be canceled. If your appointment is canceled due to lateness, you cannot use your current deposit to reschedule.
- Please cancel your appointment 24-48 hours in advance. If you would like to reschedule, please email me first. [ gmills@ohemaascrown.com ] If you would like to reschedule within the same month, you may use the same deposit. Otherwise, you will have to pay a new deposit for the next booking.
Hair Prep | Hair Provision
- Client’s hair must be thoroughly washed, detangled, and blow dried upon arrival. If you prefer to not use heat, please fully stretch your hair. If your hair is not blow dried / detangled / stretched, additional fees will apply. If you prefer I do it for you, please select the Add-on at booking.
- Please communicate any allergies/sensitivities to synthetic hair and hair products via email ASAP.
- Client’s hair must be 3inches minimum to be serviced (wig foundation/base cornrows). Feel free to email me pictures if you are not sure.
- I provide hair for certain styles, please book under [Hair Included] If you prefer that I provide the hair. If you would like color, please email in advance. Default color on hand is 1/1B. Please be sure to book the correct fullness, length, and Add-on styles you want!
Head Measurements for Custom Wigs:
- Your head measurements are important to ensure your unit fits correctly! Please use the guide below to measure your head and be sure that you send it accurately. Ohemaa's Crown will not be held liable for any wrong measurements. Please email us if you need assistance: Email us!
COVID Policy
- No Guests are allowed to your appointment.
- You must wear a mask TO your appointment and DURING your appointment.
- If you have been exposed to COVID or had a positive result within the past 2 weeks, please cancel your appointment.
- If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID (even a cold), please cancel your appointment.
- Hand sanitizer, Disinfectant wipes and spray will be always available.
